I will never forget the year 2020. I’m sure everyone remembers it for COVID and lockdowns. I will remember it as the year my husband finally achieved his goal of becoming CEO. All his work finally paid off. We planned a huge party to celebrate his success, but then Covid happened and the party got canceled. I was super disappointed but a lot of things got canceled that spring. Little did I know the worst was yet to come. The year 2020 changed my life forever. I was thrown back into isolation. I could not meet my friends or family due to COVID.
My husband started not feeling well. He decided to go to the doctor to get things checked out and two weeks later a CT scan was scheduled. Two weeks after that the doctor calls and says my husband has a tumor on his liver and they need to operate. This is the start of our secret cancer story.
