Good times (9)

After hearing all the good news from the doctors, we start living life again. COVID is still a thing and there is still a lot of discussion on how to be responsible. But after living in isolation and dealing with Cancer, we decided to live life. Tomorrow is not promised.

It took six months before cancer came back into our lives and we did a lot in those six months. We bought a boat, we took week long vacations to Spain, Miami, and Washington DC. Having dual citizenship afforded us luxuries that not everyone else had during COVID. Countries shut their boarders but we could travel freely. This was probably the only time I realized the luxury of having multiple passports.

Because we traveled so much during this period, American Express invited us to become centurion members (black card holders). This gave us insane luxuries like private events, box seating, private lounges, better upgrades and free luxury dining.

We appreciate these luxuries immensely especially now that life is back to normal for most and we are back to fighting for our lives and living with our cancer secret. Life is going to get tougher for us. My husband is still working full time as CEO and refuses to give up, so our secret lives on.
