So my husband has been in the hospital since Friday. He was acting weird and was just out of it. It really scared me. The doctors are trying to figure out why he is confused and slow.
They gave us really scary options. The first being that the chemotherapy has taken a toll on his brain, the second, that the cancer has moved to his brain, and the third, that he is dying and this is a normal process. I have never been more devastated in my life.
They took him off his chemo pills and he seems to be doing better. He still is not the same, as he was, but he at least knows what year it is. They are going to keep him in the hospital until they can figure out what is causing the confusion and if they can make it better.
He finally realized that he needs to go on sick leave. I am pretty sure that this will be released to the media and the world before the stock market opens on Monday. People are going to be shocked. We only told our closest friends and family.
